Do I need an ePassi contract?
Yes, you need a merchant contract with ePassi. Applying is free and typically takes 1–2 weeks.
How much does the plugin cost?
99 EUR per year. The price includes ePassi payment processing, updates, and support.
Does it work with WooCommerce Blocks checkout?
Yes. The plugin supports both the classic checkout and WooCommerce Blocks checkout.
What happens when the license expires?
The payment methods disappear from checkout automatically. Existing orders are not affected. After renewal, payment methods return.
What types of benefits are supported?
Fitness, wellness, culture, lunch, and commute benefits — all through ePassi. The benefit type is set per product.
Does Smartum work outside Finland?
No, Smartum is only available in Finland. Outside Finland, ePassi is the primary benefit payment provider.
How do I apply for an ePassi contract?
Visit epassi.com and apply as a merchant. You'll need your business registration number and company details.
Does it support subscriptions?
ePassi processes individual payments. For WooCommerce Subscriptions, each payment is processed separately.
