How to set up employee benefit payments in WooCommerce

This guide shows you how to accept employee benefit payments via ePassi in your WooCommerce store. Setup takes about 15 minutes.

Before you start you need

  • WooCommerce store (version 8.0 or newer)
  • ePassi merchant contract
  • WooCommerce Benefit Payments license key (you get it after purchase)

Installation guide

    Download the plugin

    You'll receive a download link in your email right after purchase. Download the .zip file.

    Install in WordPress

    Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Select the .zip file → Install Now → Activate.

    Enter your license key

    Go to WooCommerce → Benefit License → Enter the license key from your email.

    Enable ePassi

    Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → ePassi → Enable. Enter your ePassi credentials (Username and MAC Key).

    Set product benefit types

    Edit a product → Benefit tab → Select the ePassi account type (e.g. Fitness, Culture, Commute).

    Test it

    Enable test mode and make a test purchase. Verify the payment goes through and the order updates.

Tips

  • ePassi test credentials: Username 9951, MAC Key GY3GB5AH
  • Each product can only have one benefit type at a time — create separate products for different benefit types
  • The plugin supports WooCommerce Blocks checkout out of the box
